Sant Joan is the day Catalans observe the summer solstice, probably one of the oldest festivals of humanity. And we will celebrate it this 2026 on the beach!
We will meet June 23 at Locarno beach starting at 5:30pm.
- As usual the Casal will bring picnic food. We encourage to bring goodies to share!
- We will carry candles and lights for the kids. Remember that firecrackers are not legal, so we appreciate it if you do not bring any.
- Bring camping chairs and tables (or blankets/towels) and reusable utensils (plates and cutlery) to make it more sustainable.
We will try to locate ourselves in the area marked in yellow, but everything will depend on how full the beach is (we will try to pass on the specific location to the Lost in Vancouver group, otherwise look for a group with good people)
