El Casal is an entity recognized both by the Government of the Generalitat de Catalunya and by the Government of British Columbia. We are formally defined as a non-profit, and we follow the laws that regulate civic organizations throughout the Province. You can find here the bylaws by which we are governed here.
As a democratic entity, every year we hold an Ordinary General Assembly to elect a new Board. The last one was held last November 25, 2025 and the following were elected as members of the Board:
