To celebrate Saint George’s Day, we will gather on Saturday, April 26th from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Picnic Pavilion on Granville Island (the same place as the last two years!)
Special Activities:
- Sweet Rose Workshop and Book Points for the little ones (and for the sweet-toothed adults too).
- Book Exchange: Bring a book in Catalan and you can take another one.
- Potato Omelette Contest: Who will take home the prize for the best omelet? The Casal will provide drinks and bread with tomato.
- Floral Games: The fourth edition of the Catalan literary contest in Vancouver is here. Submit your drawings, stories or poems until April 18th (complete rules on the website).
Roses: The Casal Català de Vancouver will sell some beautiful roses with a suggested donation of $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
We hope it will be a nice sunny day, but if it rains don’t worry, the Picnic Pavilion is covered, so the party is guaranteed!
